Frames are constructed from our patented Swiss MemFibr™, which can be bent,
flexed, sat on, whatever, they won’t break. All models feature reinforced hinges
and nose-bridge for durability. All of our lenses are made of impact-resistant and
shatter-resistant polycarbonate or JetShield technology.
Protective -
Key features of Numa frames are rubberized nose and/or temple pads to prevent
slippage, a tight “wrap” to protect against wind, dust and debris, venting between
lens and frame on “extreme wrap” models to prevent fogging. All lenses provide
100% protection from harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays.
Lightweight -
A pair of frames with lenses in place weighs only 23 to 26 grams*, that’s less than
one ounce - so light that you hardly feel you’re wearing them!
Tactical Assault Systems Blackout Series -
In collaboration with Tactical Assualt Systems, Numa Sport Optics has produced the TAS Blackout Series. This line offers the same quality and performance as the original glasses from Numa but with rubberized black frames and matte black logos. This is for the user/operator who doesnt necessarily need to “pimp” a logo on their glasses. All of the TAS Blackout Series glasses come with Polarized Copper, Smoke and Clear Lenses. The Point, Reflex, and Chisel are ANSI z87.1-2003 impact-resistant, while the Shark and Lo-Pro are ANSI 80.3 rated.
